Make a Card at Home or With Friends
Turn To Hope needs your help to hit our 5,000 card goal! Grab your crayons, markers, construction paper, and creative ideas, and make a card for someone who could use some hope and compassion.
When writing your card, keep your message brief and uplifting, offering hope, kindness, and empathy in just a few sentences. You might acknowledge the general situation (“I’m thinking of you during this challenging time”) and share a simple encouragement (“You are stronger than you realize” or “Brighter days are ahead”). Avoid sharing any personal details or identifying information; instead, focus on the universal experience of needing compassion and understanding. Our volunteers review all cards to ensure they’re warm, appropriate, and safe before we send them out.
